Ceres began in 2015, when founder Alex Villeneuve began testing ways to grow mushrooms on agricultural byproducts while studying at Olds College. Today, our Crossfield farm supplies organic shiitake and oyster mushrooms to retailers, distributors and foodservice partners across Western Canada.
